This heartfelt, humor-filled book by Glenn Cort began as letters from a father to his son—and grew into a message for an entire generation of teens grappling with a confusing new normal in America. Unable to make sense of it all, Glenn launched a multi-year research journey to uncover the roots of societal division. What he found gave him hope: a deeper understanding of natural laws and the idea that we may be breaking the very rules that hold society together.
Originally self-published in 2023 and formally released by Atmosphere Press in 2025 (now also available as an audiobook), Letters to Mikey helps young people navigate societal confusion and offers a perspective that can help them bridge differences as they grow.

The Curriculum: The Fantastic Truths Which Could Unite Us
Years of research culminated in the launch of our pilot curriculum in June 2025. Designed for camps, nonprofits, private schools, and eventually public schools, it explores the roots of moral, tribal, and ethnic conflict in a hard-hitting, engaging format. The curriculum introduces the principles of natural law, then explains how individuals and societies gradually disconnect from their innate capacity for virtue. It reveals how various forces combine to obscure our judgment, creating a “perfect storm,” and offers a belief system to help us see through it and find a clearer, united path forward.
The Discussion Forum – The Getting Along Academy Substack
The Getting Along Academy Substack engages adults in exploring themes from our book, research on polarization, and broader societal issues like loss of hope and trust. Our goal is to equip adults with insights that can ultimately support and inspire young people. While our primary focus is on youth, meaningful change begins with adults.

Every day, nonprofits reflect the innate goodness of humanity, placing duty above self-interest and showcasing humility, balance, and virtue. By sharing our book, curriculum, and mission with like-minded organizations, we aim to spread awareness of natural laws and connect human experience to these enduring truths. Though nonprofits embody these values, we often fail to teach them, especially to young people. Uniting nonprofits can shape a national identity rooted in these principles and help youth preserve their natural gifts, offering a shared perspective to bridge future differences.
